If you are anything like me your to-do lists, thoughts, ideas, goals, and questions about what’s for dinner swirl around in your head a million miles a minute and a million times a day. It can be exhausting and overwhelming thinking all of the thoughts we do on a daily basis. I drive myself crazy because of how quickly I jump from one idea to the next because it means I can never fully focus on one task or idea. I’m sure my husband could easily prove this by reading one of my texts where one minute I’m asking for dinner ideas and the next I’m sending him a picture of a home decor idea I found on Pinterest.
Thoughts seem harmless, right? I mean, so what if you’re thinking too much. It’s good to think! Except, for me, thinking too much was causing stress, anxiety, and emotional instability. You know how clutter in your home can take a toll on you psychologically? Well, the same thing also happens to me when that clutter is in my head. I knew that I needed to do something to easy my mind so one Saturday night I bit the bullet and sat down to put pen to paper. It was time to do what I call a brain dump. I started making checklists and to-do lists for all of the things that I’m constantly thinking about. First, I started with healthy habits.

kristi – you constantly amaze me. not only is this blog extremely helpful to so many people (including myself), but i can’t help but be proud of all you do. you are always trying to improve yourself, not only for yourself, but for your family as well. i’d like to take a tiny bit of credit for the amazing woman you’ve become, but you have pretty much accomplished all of this yourself! keep up the good work:)

As a home Organizer checklists are my life….and I try to get clients to understand the importance of them. I usually make one big check list of things that are not daily tasks at the beginning of the week that way I can work on them throughout the week. I’m a bujo user so all my checklists are in there, But for people who are new at the checklist thing putting them on the fridge is a great idea!
